I was fortunate enough to make my grand entrance into this world on September 3, 2007, in the vibrant city of Sydney, Australia. My parents, being the adventurous souls they are, had just settled in Sydney the year before my arrival. However, our time Down Under was short-lived, as we soon embarked on a journey back to India.
Life took an unexpected turn when my parents decided to temporarily relocate to the United States. It was during our American escapade that my younger brother made his debut on April 18, 2010. But as fate would have it, we found ourselves back in India later that year. It was in my homeland that I began my educational journey, starting from the early years of schooling (i.e. Nursery,Prep,1st Class and 2nd Class).
Just as I was getting comfortable in my Indian school routine, destiny called again, and this time it led us to the enchanting city of London in 2015. I had crossed my second grade(In India) and I joined midway through the 3rd grade in London, and by the time I had settled into the rhythm of my 4th grade, we were on the move once more. This time, our destination was the vibrant city of Brisbane.
Little did I know that the education system in Brisbane would prove to be a bit behind the times. As a result, I found myself re-entering the 2nd grade, but only for a brief week. Thankfully, the new session began in January 2016, and I was able to jump to the 3rd grade(Though I had been in grade 4 in London). During this Journey I first time entered into the world of Computer Science starting to build my logical abilities for programming. Scratch MIT became my friend to hone these skills.
Although I may not appear to be a Karate expert at the moment, let me take you back to my days in Brisbane during 3rd grade. It was then that my father decided to enroll both my brother and me in Karate classes. The belt system in place was quite extensive, starting from the humble white belt and progressing through orange, orange tip, blue, blue tip, yellow, yellow tip, green, green tip, brown, brown tip, and finally, the coveted black belt, which had a whopping 10 levels!
We managed to proudly achieve the blue tip belt, but just as we were on the verge of attaining the yellow belt, life threw us a curveball, and in June 2017, we packed our bags once again and made the move from Brisbane to Sydney.
Despite the constant changes, my education persisted, albeit with a few hiccups along the way. Unfortunately, circumstances forced us to relocate once more, and we found ourselves back in India, settling into our home at the end of 2017. And so, in the year 2018 and beyond, I finally found stability and embarked on my formal education. Sixth grade became my new stomping ground, a fresh start in a familiar place(Though Along this journey I only completed my class 4 in Australia and had officially skipped 5th Class).
I finally found my footing in 6th grade in India when I joined DPSGV (Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Vasundhara). Now, don't get confused with the DPS society, which is a whole different ball game. This school was a branch of the DPSG society, and it was the same place where I had attended prep to second grade earlier in my Indian adventure.
Let me tell you, 6th grade was a bit of a struggle. English here was like a whole new language compared to what I had studied in Australia. And don't even get me started on Social Studies, with its mix of History, Geography, and Political Science. It was like diving into uncharted waters. Thankfully, my amazing mother came to the rescue and helped me navigate through it all.
Now, Hindi was a compulsory subject, and let's just say it wasn't my strong suit. I barely scraped by the first exam with just passing marks. But hey, Rome wasn't built in a day, right?
By the mid of 2018 my brother and I were enrolled into a Dance institute by our parents so that we could learn some moves. I dipped my toes into the world of programming languages for the first time. After dabbling in block coding at Scratch Mit, I finally tackled the basics of HTML(In 7th grade, I expanded my coding skills by learning CSS. I was fascinated by the ability to style web pages and add interactive elements to them).
As time went on, I started to get the hang of things and became more accustomed to the Indian environment. By the time I entered 7th grade, I was in full study mode, but it was in 7th grade where I really hit my stride. That's when I experienced major growth and development. This is when I was first time recognized in Dance for the school Annual Function that year.
Then, 2020 hit, and boy, did it hit hard. Just as I entered 8th grade, the infamous COVID-19 pandemic decided to make its grand entrance. No explanations needed, we all know what a mess that was. So, my 8th grade became an online adventure, with Zoom calls and virtual classrooms becoming the new norm.
In 8th grade, I delved deeper into the world of coding, exploring the realms of these two programming languages. As the year 2020 drew to a close, I embarked on a thrilling journey with Whitehat Jr, where I embarked on my first-ever encounter with the enigmatic language of Javascript. Whitehat Jr, an online coding learning platform, became my trusted companion throughout the entirety of 2021 and 2022, as I continued to expand my coding prowess.
These years may not have been marked by monumental progress, but they served as the building blocks for my future coding endeavors. They laid the groundwork for what was to come, setting the stage for my continued growth and development.
But wait, there's more! If you're curious about my high school years and how they shaped my coding journey, I invite you to check out the next section.
